Scott Thomas is the Lead Servant of Church Planting Partners, a Minister-in-Residence at Immanuel Church in Nashville, and a member of several church planting boards. Scott served as President of Acts 29 for many years and as the Associate Director of C2C Collective, a church planting network in North America. Scott started three churches and was a lead pastor for 17 years. His pastoral ministry spans 42 years. |
Scott is now a full-time missionary to facilitate healthy pastors and healthy church planting through Church Planting Partners.
He is the author of The Gospel Shaped Leader, Gospel Coach Workbook, The Gospel Shaped Leader Workbook, Twenty Great Truths, and Redeeming Grace. He is the founder of Gospel Coaching and co-author of Gospel Coach: Shepherding Leaders to Glorify God. Scott has trained over 6,000 Gospel Coaches and regularly teaches church leadership and emotionally healthy servant leadership. Scott lives in Hendersonville, TN (Nashville) with his wife of 42 years, Jeannie. They have two incredible sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law. They have four grandchildren.
