Church Planting Online Residency: 2023-2024

Introducing the Church Planting Residency: a ten-month online program designed to equip men to establish healthy, gospel-centered churches that multiply.  Drawing on extensive research conducted by Redeemer City to City in New York, we have identified ten key characteristics crucial to the success of a thriving church plant.

Four Values of Church Planting Residency:

1. Local Church-Centered:

Immerse yourself in your local church while learning. Church Planting Residency (CPR) guides you through a transformative journey, cultivating health and competence in church planting. Your local church is the authority, but as most churches lack the time and experience to train potential planters, CPR works for the local church to fill this crucial gap.

2. Cross-Denominational Embrace:

CPR adopts a gospel-centered approach without imposing specific doctrines. While your local church, denomination, or network provides the theological foundation, cohorts embrace an irenic approach to theology. By learning from one another, diverse beliefs are respected, and fruitful conversations lead to a deeper understanding of the Orthodox religious landscape.

3. Thriving Gospel Culture:

Experience the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life. CPR fosters a community of believers who live out gospel values such as grace, forgiveness, honesty, love, authenticity, unity, servant leadership, joy, prayerfulness, holiness, and missional living.

4. Practical, Personal, and Outcome-Driven:

CPR prioritizes practicality over mere theory. As a participant, you'll compile a church-planting playbook reflecting your convictions and outlining strategies to effectively reach the community where God has called you. You will receive personalized attention and ongoing coaching.
